Puppy Trainer/Raiser INFORMATION Q&A

Puppy Trainer/Raiser Information

Every Third Tuesday 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM PT

If you’d like to become a Puppy Trainer/Raiser for approximately 20 months, you don’t have to do it alone. You may co-train/raise with a colleague, friend, neighbor, or family member, sharing the joy, responsibility, and adventure.

Under the guidance and direction of our Service Dog Trainers, each Puppy Trainer/Raiser provides the love, playfulness, and gentle guidance that help Service Dogs-in-Training (SDiT) grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs. Through hands-on snuggling, play, socialization, and everyday adventures, Puppy Raisers support healthy growth and emotional development during this critical stage.

MobilityDog advances FUNctional independence for the disabled community through service dogs, adaptive tools, education, and empowerment. Along the way, both dogs and humans learn the basics—building strong foundations that show up in each SDiT’s actions, responses to cues, and confidence as they explore the world.

2ND TUESDAY EACH MONTH 3:00 - 3:45 PM PT

A Service Dog is not for everyone, but when it is right, a Service Dog becomes an extension of you. Together, you step out the front door with quiet confidence, carried by trust, partnership, and FUNctional independence.

Community is part of the journey. Having space to share stories, learn, meet up, and grow—while fully owning the life you have—becomes a powerful launch point toward independence. Connection softens the path and reminds us that forward movement doesn’t happen alone.

Each of us is bio-individual, moving to our own rhythm. MobilityDog is here to walk beside you—supporting wellness, forward-mobility adventures, and the courage it takes to show up fully for every moment.

Bring your dreams. Bring what holds you back. Together—with community, medical teams, family, and friends, we listen, learn, and move forward toward a kinder, brighter, more accessible tomorrow.

🎉 FALL FUN, BIG HEARTS, AND 8 YEARS OF MOBILITYDOG 🎉

As we move through the fall, we’re taking a moment to celebrate eight amazing years of growth, connection, and community. While MobilityDog’s official birthday is January 25, 2026, autumn is our season to reflect—when the leaves fall, the year slows, and we gather the people who make this journey so special.

Join us from 12:00–3:00 PM for a feel-good afternoon filled with community vibes, lunch, and a live DJ. Everyone is welcome—bring your families, your friends, your people, and your service dogs. Come eat, laugh, connect, and learn who we are and why we do what we do. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are just discovering MobilityDog, this is your invitation to come hang out, celebrate, and be part of what’s next. You won’t want to miss it 🍂🎶

INFORMATION

2ND TUESDAY EACH MONTH 3:00 - 3:45 PM PT

ZOOMING ABOUT BEING A SERVICE DOG HANDLER

A Service Dog is not for everyone; however, WHEN IT IS FOR YOU, a Service Dog becomes an extension of you, and you stroll out that front door with the confidence of FUNctional independence.

Being part of a community to share, enhance, meet up, educate, and own the life you have is an important launching pad towards FUNctional independence.

Each one of us is a bio-individual. MobilityDog is here to support your journey and make your path kinder by choosing wellness and forward-mobility adventures, owning all of your moments.

Share your dreams and what is keeping you from stepping out; as a community, we can share, interact, work together with our medical team, family, and friends for the brightest tomorrow.
